1st Step
Follow the directions on the box to prepare the giant pasta shells. Put them in a draining sink to cool. This action makes a container for the tasty taco filling.
2nd Step
Brown the ground beef or turkey in a pan over medium heat until no longer pink inside. Get rid of the extra fat. Put in the taco seasoning and prepare as directed. The meat takes on a new dimension of taste from this spice.
3rd Step
Mix in the salsa, oregano, basil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to the meat. For a few minutes over low heat, let the flavors combine.
4th Step
Mix the ricotta, an egg, and half of the grated cheddar in a bowl. This smooth combination enhances the meal’s overall decadence.
5th Step
Turn on the oven and set the temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Cover the bottom of a baking dish with a thin coating of the meat mixture. Spoon some of the cheese filling into each pasta shell, and then carefully fill each shell with some of the meat mixture.
6th Step
Put the shells on a baking dish and fill them up. Shred the remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle it on top. For 20-25 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
7th Step
After the Taco Stuffed Shells have been baked, they may be decorated with sour cream, sliced black olives, diced tomatoes, and chopped green onions. These condiments liven up the meal with a blast of color and a breath of fresh air.
