3rd Step
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sauté for approximately 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness. Once the steak is cooked, place it on a cutting board and allow it to settle for a few minutes before carving it thinly against the grain.
4th Step
Add another tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for approximately 30 seconds, or until aromatic.
5th Step
Cook the shrimp for two to three minutes per side, or until they turn golden and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set them aside.
6th Step
Whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil in a small basin to make the teriyaki sauce. And add the final tablespoon of vegetable oil to the same skillet over medium heat. Add the pepper strips and broccoli florets. Stir-fry the vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes, until they are faintly tender but still golden.
7th Step
Return the shrimp and sirloin slices to the pan with the vegetables. Pour the teriyaki sauce over the ingredients and stir until evenly coated and thoroughly heated.
