7th Step
Get the sausage and potatoes out of the oven when they reach the desired doneness. Fresh parsley, or any other herb of your choosing, makes a beautiful garnish.
8th Step
Immediately remove the smoked sausage and potatoes from the oven and serve them while they are still very hot. A simple green salad or some steamed vegetables would fill out a supper of this recipe, but it may stand on its own as a satisfying meal.
