Salt: natural softener and stain remover
Salt can also be used when washing clothes, however it should be noted that it is not like vinegar or citric acid that act as natural softeners . Salt simply strengthens the water and then you get benefits.
Just add a tablespoon of coarse salt to each wash and you will have help with the laundry. It also brightens the colors of your clothes. Then it is used as a pretreatment to combat the most stubborn stains.
For example, to remove a wine stain from clothing, simply sprinkle the stain with salt. Then leave it until it completely absorbs the stain. To rinse, we recommend using carbonated water and scrubbing and then washing by hand or in the washing machine.
