Fry the potato cakes in batches for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they achieve a golden brown color and are cooked through.
Place the fried potato cakes on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Serve immediately or transfer to a baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10 minutes to achieve a crisp texture.
