Lemon to whiten curtains
First of all, if you want to use pure Marseille soap and not liquid soap, you will have to make it yourself. The liquid Marseille soap on the market, in fact, contains other ingredients which are often of non-natural origin . The procedure for making a piece of liquid Marseille soap is really very simple, you just need to equip yourself with a jar that can be closed airtight , and put a little piece of Marseille soap inside. Next, pour a little boiling water over the soap pieces, close the jar and shake it to mix everything together. Proportionally, soap should be at least 5 times more than water . In fact, very little boiling water will be enough to dissolve the soap, and if it’s not enough, you can always add it little by little.
Next, take a lemon, divide it into two parts and squeeze the juice from one half .
Soaking curtains
Then simply fill a basin with lukewarm water to which add half a cup of liquid Marseille soap (made by yourself or purchased), 2 tablespoons of baking soda and the previously squeezed lemon juice. At this point, all you need to do is mix all the ingredients well and soak the tent for at least two hours . After this time you can continue rinsing or washing directly in the washing machine. Whether you choose to wash the curtains by hand or in the washing machine, the result will be guaranteed and your curtains will become bright white again.
