There is also an alternative method  to use lemon . The lemons are squeezed, the juice is poured into  ice buckets and then placed in the freezer. If you want, you can also add a few drops of essential oil exactly as it smells, and a little vinegar that increases the sanitizing action of the lemon . 

Once the cubes have hardened, they can be placed in the dishwasher after each wash. This way the dishes will smell clean and the dishwasher will clean itself while you wash the dishes.

Other alternative methods

Alternatively, instead of lemon , you can use vinegar, which removes dirt and grease. Also in this case, as for the lemon, the vacuum washing cycle is activated, at high temperature, with a glass of vinegar, poured directly into the dishwasher.
