At the age of 85, Charles Cyphers, who played a scary movie star, has died. Chris Roe, the actor’s manager, confirmed that he was sick for a short time.
It was Sunday when Charles died in Tucson, Arizona. Chris told Variety, “Charles was a kind and loving man.” “He always told the best stories, and you were thrilled as he did them.” He had been a client and close friend for many years and will be deeply missed.
In the 1978 Halloween movie, Charles played Sheriff Leigh Brackett. In the 1981 and 2021 sequels, he played the same part again. Charles said it was “shocking but wonderful” to be asked back to do Halloween Kills, the third movie in the series, in an interview at HorrorCon UK in 2022.“I’ve never been asked to be in a movie again after 40 years. “Most of the people are dead,” he said.
“Thank goodness I didn’t die, because they brought me back.” “It felt great to get paid to do it again.” It was nice. “I liked it,” Charles said. In the first two Halloween movies, Nancy Kyes played Annie Brackett. She talked about her on-screen dad. “I’m so sorry to hear about Chuck. You could always count on him for a nice word, a good laugh, or a great story. He was my friend for a long time. “I will miss him so much,” she said in a statement. CHARLES’S EARLY LIFE Charles was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on July 28, 1939.
He has degrees from both California State University, Los Angeles and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Charles got his bachelor’s degree in theater arts there. His other job was going to Los Angeles City College before he became an actor. Charles didn’t look like he was married or had any children of his own. OTHER PARTS Charles played a lot of different roles besides the Halloween movies.
