The idea came to Stallone after a visit to a local Starbucks, where he felt the environment had become too infused with corporate advocacy and cultural statements, which he believes detracts from the simple pleasure of enjoying a good cup of coffee. “Coffee should be about comfort, about a moment of peace in your day,” Stallone remarked during the announcement of his new business venture. “Knockout Brews is about bringing that back, focusing solely on quality and service, leaving politics out the door.”
