Step
1 Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F. Roll out the puff pastry and place a bar of dark chocolate in the centre.Step 2 Using a thin knife, make slits on both sides of the pastry.Step 3 Fold the top and bottom pieces of pastry over the bar of chocolate.Step 4 Fold the remaining pieces of pastry over the bar of chocolate, creating a braid that completely covers the chocolate.
Step 5 Brush the shortcrust pastry with beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts.
Step 6 Bake for 20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.
Once ready, allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
