Assemble the Toast:
Place half of the slices, buttered side down, on a baking sheet. Top each slice with a slice of cheese. Place the remaining slices on top, buttered side up.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted. For extra crispiness, you can broil for an additional 1-2 minutes at the end.

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Slice and serve warm.
