Use table salt to clean the oven thoroughly
With an accessible and natural ingredient, it is quite possible to clean the oven without much effort : table salt. First, sprinkle a sufficient amount of this ingredient on the dirty areas of the oven. Then turn on the oven to 180°C. The heat thus browns the small salt particles that loosen the dirt. After about 30 minutes, turn off the oven and open it to protect yourself from the escaping steam. Allow to cool and then wipe the inside of the oven with a cloth dampened with water to remove burnt-on residue and other food residues.
Opt for the bowl method to clean the oven
If you’re looking for an easy way to clean the oven, there’s nothing better than the bowl method. All you need is a squeeze of lemon and a small vessel that can withstand the heat. Then squeeze the juice of four lemons and put them in the oven at 250°C. Let the juice boil for about 30 minutes. After this time has passed, remove the mold from the oven and wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth. Lemon is an excellent cleaner and disinfectant. At the same time, it eliminates all bad odors from the oven.
