Instructions
1. Prepare the Chicken:
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps them sear properly.
Season both sides of the chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried thyme (if using). Sprinkle the lemon zest over the chicken as well.
2. Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot and the butter has melted, add the chicken breasts to the pan.
Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature of the chicken should reach 165°F (74°C).
