2 tablespoons of margarine
1 egg for breading
1 cup of bread crumbs
500 grams/17,63 oz of ground beef
4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cups of milk (half cold and half warm) ( 500 ml/ 16.90 fl oz )
salt to taste
Instructions:
First, brown the minced meat in the margarine. When the meat is well cooked, add the onion. Now wait until the onion has softened.
Then, using a separate pan, add half the milk and half the flour. Bring to the boil.
Then, as soon as it comes to the boil, pour the mixture into the pan with the meat, add the remaining ingredients and cook until the cream starts to loosen from the pan.
Finally, grease a dish with margarine, pour in the cream and refrigerate for about 12 hours. Shape, coat twice in flour and fry.
I think this is the tastiest version of this stew I’ve ever made; it’s so good!
