Directions
1. Spread the peanut butter on one slice of bread and the jelly on the other. Press the slices together to form a sandwich.
2. In a shallow dish, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.
3. Melt a generous amount of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
4. Dip the sandwich quickly into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well-coated.
5. Place the sandwich in the hot skillet and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
6. Remove from skillet, and if desired, dust with powdered sugar before serving.
I love serving these at my parties. It’s such a breeze (and cheap) to make and looks so fancy
