Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta:
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions, typically about 9-11 minutes until al dente.
Drain the pasta and set it aside.
2. Cook the Ground Beef:
While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet or sauté pan over medium heat.
Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
3. Add the Vegetables and Seasoning:
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan with the beef and cook for another 2-3 minutes until softened.
Stir in the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, mixing well to combine.
I’ve never done this on a sheet pan before, but this recipe made me a convert!
