Use a Nonstick Pot: Nonstick cookware is designed to prevent food from sticking, reducing the chances of burns. While it’s not a guarantee against burning, nonstick pots make cleaning up much easier.
Stir Frequently: For recipes that involve simmering or slow cooking, be sure to stir frequently. This ensures that food doesn’t stick to the bottom and burn.
Keep an Eye on the Pot: It might sound simple, but the best way to prevent a burnt pot is to monitor your cooking. Stay nearby, especially when cooking at high temperatures, and don’t leave the kitchen for extended periods.
