5. Prevent paint from dripping
If you’re painting at home, use aluminum foil to cover doorknobs, hinges, and other small pieces. It’s much easier than trying to tape them and ensures you don’t accidentally get paint where it shouldn’t.
The film easily takes on strange shapes and stays in place without glue.
6. Polish cutlery in the dishwasher using balls of aluminum foil
Is your cutlery looking a little dull or dull? Here’s a simple and surprisingly effective solution: Roll up a few small balls of aluminum foil and place them in the cutlery holder of your dishwasher. When you wash it in the dishwasher, there’s a chemical reaction between the foil and the dishwasher detergent, which helps polish the cutlery and remove the dullness.
Effect? Shiny, glossy cutlery without extra scrubbing!
Tip: For best results, make sure the foil balls are about the size of a golf ball. Replace the foil balls every few washes to keep your cutlery looking its best.
