Mold in the bathroom: how to get rid of it quickly and easily!
Mold, how to remove it from your bathroom. We are at a time of year when humidity becomes evident in our homes. The difference between the outside and inside temperature of our house begins to be felt. Drying the floor is not as easy as a few months ago and after a shower, condensation in the bathroom is more significant.
These factors promote the development of mold. Mold is unpleasant, but also a risk to our health that we must absolutely avoid. But how can we prevent its appearance and eliminate it?
Tips to avoid mold in the bathroom
Install a fan proportional to the size of the bathroom and turn it on for at least half an hour, after the shower. If you don’t have a fan, wipe down the bathroom walls and mirrors
Seal any gaps or cracks in the tiles to prevent water from escaping. Replace the silicone periodically. Silicone doesn’t last forever, and when it stops doing its job, it needs to be replaced.
Open the windows after bathing or showering to help them dry faster. Does your bathroom have no windows? Consider installing a mechanical fan or an exhaust fan with a backdraft system.
