First, in a bowl place the rice, the egg, the grated pepperoni, the grated mozzarella, the salt, the black pepper, the oregano to taste, the wheat flour, the yeast and the green scent to taste.
Then, mix everything very well until you form a homogeneous dough that can be shaped.
Then, using a tablespoon, take a little of the dough and roll it in your hand, then open the dough to place a piece of cheese in the middle.
Afterwards, close the rice ball tightly so that it doesn’t leak.
After completing the entire process with all the dough, place the breadcrumbs in one dish and the milk with the beaten egg in another.
Then, pass the balls through the egg with milk and then into the breadcrumbs, continue this process until the balls are finished.
Finally, in a pan with very hot oil, place about 4 balls at a time to fry until golden. (Avoid adding too much as it can cool the oil and leave the dumplings soaked in oil).
Then place the dumplings on a plate with paper towel to drain the excess oil.
If it were up to me, I’d relish this dish every day.
