
Washing and disinfecting pillows is essential for proper hygiene at home. Dirt, fungi and bacteria accumulate on pillows and can cause some respiratory and allergy problems.
Our sweat, as well as dust and saliva, ends up on pillows, creating an ideal environment for bacteria to develop. This is why it is important to wash and disinfect pillows at least once a month, and below we explain how to do it.
Baking soda and vinegar. Mix two equal parts of baking soda and white vinegar, and dilute them in water. In addition to cleaning and disinfecting pillows, thanks to the acids in vinegar and the properties of baking soda, this method is useful for whitening them.
