Yellowish Radiators: Importance of Cleaning:
-It is essential to keep radiators clean to ensure healthier air and efficient operation. Dirty radiators are not only unsightly, but can also adversely affect air quality and compromise their energy efficiency.
How to Clean Cast Iron Radiators:
-Preparation:
1- Turn off the radiators so they are cold before starting cleaning.
2- Remove dust with a vacuum cleaner equipped with a fine nozzle to prevent mold formation.
-Deep Cleaning:
1- Use a brush or duster to remove dirt and dust attached to the radiators.
2- In a bucket, mix 3 tablespoons of Marseille soap with half a liter of water.
3- Dip a sponge into the mixture and wipe down the radiators, placing sheets of newspaper or cloths underneath to prevent dripping.
4- Rinse and dry the radiators thoroughly after cleaning.
