Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
Drizzle caramel sauce over the brownie batter, then sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
Pour the remaining brownie batter over the caramel and chocolate chips, spreading it evenly to cover.
