In this article we suggest a method that is a viable alternative to oven deglazing and cleaning products. Read on to find out what it is.
To put the method into practice we need a pot that is suitable for baking. These are pots that can withstand very high temperatures, almost always made of ceramic, soapstone, cast iron or stainless steel.
Fill the pot with water, then pour in half a glass of vinegar and the juice of a lemon. The steam from this solution will help deglaze the oven and neutralize odors.
Set the oven to 250 degrees, then set the pot and let it sit for 30 minutes.
Immediately after that, turn off the oven and let it cool. Before it is completely cold, being careful not to burn yourself, use a cloth or sponge to remove all the residue, which will come off easily.
