INSTRUCTIONS:
1st Step
Prepare the chicken by seasoning both sides with salt and black pepper. And you may either cook the chicken on an outside grill or in a skillet on the stove. Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the meat is no longer pink in the middle. This should take place over medium heat.
2nd Step
But If you’re cooking on the stove, put a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. To ensure the chicken is cooked through, grill it for 6-8 minutes each side.
3rd Step
Add a tablespoon of butter to the same pan and cook the sliced mushrooms over medium heat until they are golden brown and soft, about 5 minutes. Add a little salt and black pepper to taste.
4th Step
Turn on the broiler in your oven. Arrange the chicken breasts in a baking dish or on a baking sheet. The honey mustard sauce should be brushed over each chicken breast.
5th Step
After the honey mustard has set, divide the sautéed mushrooms among the chicken breasts and place them on top. Toss the mushrooms with the crumbled bacon.
