Instructions:
Step 1
First, warm 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Step 2
Then, in the preheated skillet, add the broccoli, sliced mushrooms, and yellow bell pepper, then cook for 5 to 6 minutes, or until the vegetables start to soften. Remove the cooked vegetables, cover them, and set them aside for later use.
Step 3
After that, add one teaspoon of olive oil to the heated skillet, and then place the chicken breast pieces into the skillet.
Step 4
Next, cook the chicken until it is no longer pink in the center and is thoroughly cooked, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5
Then, combine the cooked vegetables back into the skillet, and in a separate bowl, mix together the soy sauce, chicken broth, sugar, sesame oil, and cornstarch until well combined.
