The following weekend, Julia and Ethan arrived at the park to meet Thomas and Alex. Ethan was excited to make a new friend, and Julia felt a flutter of nerves as they approached the playground where Thomas and Alex were waiting.
When Ethan and Alex spotted each other, they froze, staring wide-eyed. Julia’s heart skipped a beat.
